This game is so good! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to get as hooked as I did. The vibes are on point, and the gameplay is smooth – I’ve spent hours just losing track of time. It’s got that perfect balance of challenge without feeling impossible, and the art/music? Chef’s kiss. If you’re into indie games, this one’s definitely worth the play. Can’t recommend it enough!
Fact you can't buy the full game here or on GoG has kept me from buying any DLC. I got the game on Steam and then realized I really don't want to buy games on Steam if I don't have to. So I've just ignored all DLC.
I have 'Vampire Survivors' on the Nintendo Switch. I downloaded the latest update yesterday but the game has stopped working. It's stuck on the loading screen. Message: Loading... v1.12.107 (18400932R). HELP! I've tried all the usual stuff-restart, delete & reinstall - but I've had no joy! I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms 🤣
Hi, I’m experiencing a similar issue with Vampire Survivors on Nintendo Switch. Here’s what I’ve encountered:
Without any DLC installed, I can play the game normally on version v1.12.107.
After purchasing and downloading the DLC Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari, the game gets stuck on the loading screen with the message: Loading... v1.12.107 (18400932R).
I tried uninstalling the DLC and reinstalling only the base game, and this allowed me to play the game without any problems.
However, I was really looking forward to playing Tides of the Foscari, and it’s frustrating and sad that I can’t enjoy it right now.
Has anyone found a solution or heard of any updates regarding this issue? Any help would be appreciated! 😊
Legitimately have seen the ads for this game on and off for a while and I did not understand the hype. And it was kinda annoying me?? Was browsing itchio in-browser games cos I'm feeling under the weather and waiting for the heat to die down, saw this version here and thought 'Why not?'

Apologies for turning my nose up at your game, I have no idea why I was feeling the way I was. I also grabbed the Castlevania DLC cos that's something I've been meaning to get more into so why not dip me toe in this way, eh?
The early game is much tougher without garlic, but garlic is not so optimal later on. The bible is nearly as good if you focus on upgrading it, and it can be evolved later which beats garlic in the long run. I play with the skeleton guy and rarely get garlic, because his power does not benefit it. Getting magic wand early helps, too.

He is the master of Amount (number of projectiles), so try to grab weapons that benefit from his progressive Amount increases.
Weapons: Bone (starting), Wand*, Knives*, Bible*, Runecaster, (any)
* = evolve the weapon
Passives: Duplicator, Attractor, Empty Tome, Bracer, Spellbinder, (any)
The (any) can be whatever you prefer. Garlic is not a bad choice, to breeze through the first half of the game.
Try to focus on upgrading and evolving one weapon at a time.

i made 15min without garlic.

i did with bloody tear and rune and reached 30
its actually easy if you use evolved weapons, the evolved knife will really help
